Description

This ointment is waterproof and stays on to aid in healing. It will provide a protective coating to aid in the prevention of scabbing.

Mudfever- it's a common ailment, mainly caused by the bacterium Dermatophilus congolenis. It thrives in wet conditions and results in scabby lesions over the pasterns and heels. These are painful and often horses with mudfever will become lame. Because of the NZ climate, mudfever is difficult to avoid. So, if you are in a region prone to mudfever, keep Equiderm on hand.
